- Harvard Club of New York, 35 W 44th St, New York, NY
An Inflection Point for Africa & the Global South
This is a decisive turning point to reimagine governance and
embed equity at the core of economic design
In September 2025, Bridgforte Dialogues convened senior leaders at the 80th United Nations General Assembly to examine structural gaps in financial inclusion across Africa and the Global South.
The closed-door session brought together central bank leaders, platform operators, financial institutions, development partners, capital providers, and policymakers to interrogate the durability of current inclusion models and the institutional architecture required for long-term trust.
The Dialogue culminated in the development of an Inclusion Gap Map — a synthesis of structural blind spots and design principles shaping the next chapter of inclusive finance.
The UNGA Dialogues form part of Bridgforte’s recurring global convening series on inclusive finance and system design.

How can we re-engineer systems so underrepresented voices not only participate but shape agendas and direct resources?
What blind spots are we not thinking of? And what principles should we adopt going forward for a more inclusive future?
